Internship Opportunities
There are a lot of opportunities avaliable for TJ students for Physics Internships. Here are just a few common ones students do each year.
Internship Opportunities
- The Space Telescope Science Institute runs a handful of STEM programs, such as this one.
- The Smithsonian runs a lot of programs. Make sure to check it’s an internship for high schoolers, as not all are.
- The National Institute for Standards and Technology, which despite the name, does a lot of physics and applied physics research, also has a summer high school internship program.
- The Johns Hopkins Applied Physics Lab runs a summer internship program for high school students, called ASPIRE.
- Steward Observatory, at the University of Arizona, runs a summer Astronomy Camp for high school students.
- MIT Engineering runs a summer program for high school students called MITES.
